I’m conscious of repeatedly posting the same thing, so didn’t want to do daily updates on our progress doing up our wonderful new space.

Also, I’ve been busy as hell as I’ve needed to make sure I’m earning enough to pay my share of the costs.

Following the glorious multi-coloured walls, we needed to get the floor painted. We were told two days, but it actually took a week to dry… and then we needed another coat. So none of us could set foot in there for nearly a fortnight.

We’ve finally got internet so now all that remains is some further joinery work and then bringing in furniture and all the stuff we need to work on our various creative projects… and then the real work begins…

Today was the first day I actually worked in there, not on any paintings yet (looking forward to working on some huge canvases) or on musical projects, but being online, with the office ready, I’ve been working with one of my clients on their website. And the client happens to be James, who is one of the folks I’m sharing the space with. He’s running Igloo Disco from there, and it’s been a good and productive day.

Here are some photos and a video of the progress so far…
