I’ve been really buzzed to take part in an exhibition at Craven Arts House in Skipton, as part of the Imaginarium takeover, which runs throughout September…
Craven Arts House is a centre for contemporary arts, run by an artist-led organisation. Throughout September, I’ll be showing some of my artwork in their gallery space, as part of the Imaginarium Takeover, along with pieces by: Josefus Haze, Jamie McMaster, Adam Menzies, Julia Pomeroy, and Nigel Rogers, with work from Penny Wood, Endless Visual, and the late Joshua Van Leader due to go up later this week.
We’re also hosting a series of events, including two arts bazaars, Bookwatching, Prismatic, and a Kokedama workshop from Kinky Plants, and there are plants from Plant & Deck displayed along with the art, which are all available to buy (as is the artwork).
We were in last week setting up over a couple of long but rewarding days…
…and the space now looks a bit like this:
(Painting on the left is by Julia Pomeroy, the scary yellow one is mine)
I created some of the pieces recently, others are fairly old, and there are now some blank wall spaces in my house. To try and deal with this situation as best as I could, I created some quick stand-ins for the paintings I’d taken down for the exhibition. For example, where this once hung…
…I now have this approximation:
😝 😝 😝
Anyway…
I realise this post has mainly featured my own artwork. I’ve shared those being as it’s a post for my own website. That seems a bit vain, really, and most of the other stuff is far superior to mine, so here’s a few bits from the other artists involved…

Josefus Haze
Julia Pomeroy
Adam Menzies
If you can get over to check this out, or make it to any of the events, please come join!
